Just one thing at a time...

For the first time in a long time (more like a month) I stared at myself in the mirror earlier today.

Few things I noticed. The bump (or more like a hill or mountain) I was carrying for nine months is gone, although not completely. It’s going to take me a lot of crunches to flatten my stomach. Good luck to me on that part. I’m too lazy when it comes to diet or exercise.

Another thing I’ve noticed, my brows could use plucking or shall I say mowing? Ugh! Plucking my eyebrows is not favorite thing in the world, I get teary each time. But a woman’s got to do what a woman got to do, right?

Last thing, my toe nails could really use a good pedicure. I do it myself by the way. I’m the type who does not like other people touching my feet. Do you know I used to do pedicure in college? That’s how I earned my moola back in the days. Anyway, I need to give myself a good pedicure one these days or nights, when everyone is finally asleep… crossing my fingers on that too with a newborn in the house.

After all these, it made me think of personal shopping which I kind of really miss too. I have not shop for myself for a long, long time. I have been to yarn shops instead too many times. Instead of getting me a new comfortable Naot shoes, I’ve been swiping my card at Woolie Ewe for more yarns which I don’t exactly need. I could hear Hubby saying “I couldn’t agree more!” It’s also time for cleaning my closet too. Time to take a trip to Salvation Army for all the pregnancy clothes I have.

One thing at a time, right?

Ooh girl - you are definitely overdue for some "me" time. Do it - you totally deserve it and will feel so much better afterwards!!! *hugs*

Helo helo Mama Cathy!

One thing a time is a good way to do it. Don't overwhelm yourself...although it's quite impossible considering....

Have a good week!
