Yard Warrior

It’s Saturday again. The weather is beautiful and trees are changing their colors. The air smells fall. And it is.

I was determined to get things done today on my yard. And I was half-way successful when I ran out of light outside. I should have started earlier.

I trimmed some flowering trees, spread some cow manure on my garden beds, transferred some “supposed to be in the shady part, I should know better” flowers in the different parts of the yard and redid my daisy bed. I was really happy about that part. The soil was really poor. My daisies were still doing pretty good despite the soil’s condition.

Meanwhile, our patio furniture outside are starting to fade from their original colors due to the summer heat and rain. I really need to get some patio furniture covers given that the Texas heat can be damaging. And maybe something that’s water proof too. My list is just getting longer.
