Save Your Pennies

Hubby was looking at his 401k financial reporting sheet we got in the mail last night and it was depressing… maddening. And that goes with other financial stuff we have. Talk about a huge amount of loss. With the stock market hitting hard lately, it affects most likely to people like us. “The rich keeps getting richer and the poor get poorer.”

Did you hear what the big bosses on AIG did? After the bailout, they were spending thousands of dollars from one place to the next, making the general population look like an idiot. Now where do we stand after that? It’s so depressing.

On the not-so brighter side, our gasoline price is coming down a bit. The cheapest one I saw was $3.29. Do you know that cheapest price I’ve paid when we moved here in 2006 was $1.95? Those days are gone.

When I arrived here, it was 95 cents. Then, there's a different slightly higher price for those who wants to pay with credit card.

I know...I don't even want to talk about the value of money.
